Duty Free Shop Employee Save Traveller in Airport

A duty-free shop worker saved a traveler who suffered a heart attack at the Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport by using an automated external defibrillator (AED) recently.

The employee of the Ever Rich Duty Free shop reacted quickly by using an AED and performing CPR on the 42-year-old Taiwanese traveler, who collapsed at the boarding lounge of the airport’s Second Terminal on the morning of Aug. 13, according to the Taoyuan International Airport Corporation (TIAC).

Because of the Ever Rich employee’s swift response and the timely arrival of paramedics, the traveler was revived.
