We will be reporting on lives saved around the world since our first documented life saved here in Singapore.

Police Officer Philip Carriero the Saviour
The incident happened on Dec. 15, when police received word that a man was unconscious at the bottom of a flight of stairs, lying face up and suffering from a medical emergency.
Carriero, along with Lt. Kraig Gray, Officer Denis O’Donnell and a medic, responded to the residence on Lafrentz Road where they determined the man had suffered an injury to the back of his head and was unconscious, police said.
Carriero then began performing CPR on the man, while a medic prepared to use a defibrillator, according to police.
After the emergency responders used the defibrillator on the man’s chest, he regained a viable heart rhythm, spontaneous breathing and his blood pressure began to increase, police said.
Later in the day, police said the man regained a normal heart rate and was breathing on his own, thanks in part to the assistance of Carriero.
